The Day of Departure: It just keeps going and going...

Bonjour a tous! Greetings from the Quebec airport, where we've been hanging out for the last couple hours as we wait for "weather" to allow us to leave. This unanticipated delay, of course, means that we will be taking a later flight from Toronto to SF-- arriving at 10:25pm. The side effect of this delay is much to the delight of all of the seventh graders... no school tomorrow for them!!

Meanwhile, we are amusing ourselves reading, journalling, playing cards, and enjoying each other's company. Most importantly, we are keeping a positive attitude and keeping each other's spirits high.

See you soon!

Wrapping it all up

Today was the last night in Quebec. It was pretty sad. I mean, everybody was on the ground weeping to stay in Quebec and not to leave for home. Ha ha, just kidding, but everybody was sad. I'm not even going to lie, we were all whining and saying that the week went too fast which it did! We all had a great time this week and everything we did was fun. Everybody is also glad to go back and see all of their family and be back at home. This week has been one of the best of the year and we all wish we could have just one more day. This was a wrap-up by Kevin.

Food By Izzy

For lunch today we ate at the Snow Park, so we had regular carnival food, like hot dogs or hamburgers.

We had dinner at a creperie called Casse-Crepe Breton that is just down the street from our hotel. I think tonight's dinner was the best on the whole trip. I had a crepe with eggs and bacon that was AMAZING!!! Then for dessert I ate a crepe with chocolate, sugar, and butter, with whipped cream on top! It was sooo good! Tonight's meal was definitely my favorite of the whole trip!!

Only one more day :(,
Izzy
